Music Minds Matter is Help Musicians' dedicated mental health service for anybody working in music. The phone line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on 0808 802 8008. Music Minds Matter Explore provides online resources, personal stories, guidance from professionals and organisations offering further support.

Music Support is an independent charity with team members who have first-hand experience or are closely connected to the issues addressed by the organisation within its community. It provides services to peers who have experienced challenges around substance use and/or mental health, alongside providing support for their family and friends and the wider music industry. The organisation offers a person-centred, safe space to connect and receive specialist help, confidentially and without judgement

The Royal Society of Musicians is the UK’s oldest music charity, founded in 1738, to support music professionals unable to work due to accident, illness, stress or anxiety. Today, we provide financial assistance, advice and guidance to music professionals who are struggling with their physical or mental health by providing bespoke funding for physical and emotional therapies, access to specialist practitioners, short term living expenses, and more.

Music Connections is Northern Ireland’s essential online hub for musicians and industry professionals, dedicated to fostering the development and success of the region’s music sector. In partnership with Belfast City Council, we offer a wealth of resources, from funding opportunities and mental health support to a directory of essential service providers including PR specialists, management firms, recording studios, and creative hubs.

Music Industry Therapists Collective is an international group of psychotherapists and psychologists with an abundance of experience of working within and around the music industry in various roles across all sectors. Our practitioners have extensive experience of working within the music business prior to retraining, giving us a unique insight into the particular pressures, stressors, working practises, motivations and mindsets commonly found working in the music business. MITC has delivered mental health workshops and seminars to a wide range of music industry organisations, including AEG, Warner Music Group, Roskilde Festival, SXSW, Kobalt, ESNS, The Great Escape, Music Norway, Reeperbahn and ILMC.

Backup Tech (The Technical Entertainment Charity) is the UK’s registered charity that provides financial support to industry technical professionals, crew/production personnel and people working in the technical supply chain across the UK entertainment industry specifically live events, music touring, theatre and broadcast. Backup facilitates a number of initiatives in and around wellbeing: A 24hr Helpline for centralised access point for both urgent and non-urgent wellbeing support. Grants for dedicated councillor sessions AJ Bursary for freelancers to access a free Mental Health First Aider training course. Financial support for of the industry initiative to give freelances access to a free Addiction and Recovery Aware training workshops

The entertainment industry can be a collaborative, creative and exciting one, but it can, at times be isolating and insecure. The Actors’ Benevolent Fund is here to provide a sense of community and support for actors and stage managers, through our range of grants and services.We are continually looking for ways to expand our services and have many exciting plans afoot. Whether you are in need of help, would like to become an ABF member or friend or would like to help in some way, we are here and would love to hear from you.

The Film and TV Charity supports everyone working behind the scenes in the UK film, TV, and cinema industry, including full-time staff, freelancers, writers, production teams, and more. It offers a 24/7 confidential support line, legal and financial guidance, Stop-Gap Grants, a Bullying Advice Service, and free counselling. The Charity is also working to change the culture of our industry, providing resources like the Whole Picture Toolkit for mentally health productions, financial guidance and wellbeing advice, as well as promoting equity and inclusion across the industry.

BAPAM (the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine) is a specialist charity delivering expert health and wellbeing services for all those working and studying in music and the performing arts - on stage, backstage, on set, in the studio, teaching or touring. BAPAM provides free face to face and online clinical consultations, UK-wide, for performing arts work-related health problems. BAPAM clinics provide free access to accurate diagnostic assessment, specialist clinical advice on care pathways, and onward referral to experts in the field where necessary. To help prevent problems and sustain healthy creative careers, our free online training sessions and resources share knowledge grounded in research, evidence and best practice.

Offering preventive, emergency, and recovery programs, MusiCares is a safety net supporting the health and welfare of the music community. Founded by the Recording Academy in 1989 as a U.S. based, independent 501(c)(3) charity, MusiCares safeguards the well-being of all music people through direct financial grant programs, networks of support resources, and tailored crisis relief efforts

Backline is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources. We are building a safer and more supported music industry by connecting our community with quality mental health care resources that understand this line of work.

Sweet Relief was founded in 1994 by singer-songwriter Victoria Williams, and has been providing financial assistance to all types of career. musicians and music industry workers ever since. Over the years, Sweet Relief has provided financial assistance to countless members of the music community who are struggling to make ends meet while facing physical or mental health issues, disability, or age-related problems.

Support Act is the heart and hand of the Australian music industry. We are the music industry's charity, providing crisis relief, mental health and wellbeing support to musicians, managers, crew, music workers and organisations across all genres of music. We deliver this through short term financial support; funeral support; mental health prevention, education and training programs; the Mentally Healthy Workplaces Program; and the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline. Support Act is an industry leader in cultural and behavourial change, and we strive to create a safe and thriving music industry for all, including dedicated culturally intelligent support for First Nations music workers.
